LHM – Thom Craver, on not provided

Doc and Gabs were able to stalk and hog-tie Thom Craver (he really didn’t put up much of a fight) for last week’s Level Headed Marketing session and were even lucky enough to have Steve Plunkett join in. The discussion, like in so many other venues last week, was surrounding not provided, which now replaces 100% of the keyword data in Google Analytics.

As you may have noticed, there’s no shortage of people wringing their hands and gnashing their teeth, wailing about how now, they won’t be able to do their jobs. As Thom pointed out on his blog, if you believe that, you need to find a new job.

The point is, there are plenty of other ways to gather that information. All it takes is a little imagination and a willingness to do the work. Besides, in the long run, I think losing that data will be a blessing in disguise.

We broke the session into three shorter videos, but each one has some real value in it.
